Once upon a time, while watching Art Attack at Disney channel with my eldest son, the host, Neil Buchanan, used a ballpoint pen in drawing a certain artwork!Also, I read on one of the How-to-draw books of Wizard that one of the comic artists uses ballpoint pen to make a rough draft/sketch!
Also, I was able to talk to one of the Filipino artists/book illustrators during a book convention (I forgot his name, sorry), He told me that even though a ballpoint pen doesn't have the elegant reputation as brushes have, some artists actually use them to make ellegant artworks! (search it on YouTube or Google and you'll see!)
Also, ummm...ok, that's enough... =)
From then on, my point of view about ballpoint pens has changed!
