BATMAN: HUSH
I copied this drawing from Batman: Hush, from DC Super Heroes issue no. 4 (PSICOM). The penciller is Jim Lee. I did this with a ballpoint pen! (except with the solid black, I had used a brush for the background). Hey! This was just me doodling with a ballpoint pen. I drew this artwork (naks!) last 2005 AD! =)
...up in the sky!...Superman and Poison Ivy.
After scanning, I didn't even bother to clean up the smudges using Photoshop.I want a sketchy drawing even though, as far as I know, in comics, it must not look sketchy (in pencils and specially in inks,...it must have fluid lines). But, hey, I copied this from comics, but I made this not for comics, this is just my practice piece!...and I wanted it to be sketchy, just like drawings in a sketchy sketchbook! =) ...again, this was just me doodling with a ballpoint pen.
NOTE: I wasn't able to copy exactly all the details, sorry sir Jim Lee.This was my first time to copy an artwork from a great artist!
This site is all about different types of designs and drawings. This is my journey from being a frustrated artist, into a budding artist, then into a professional artist!!! =D

It's really difficult for me to draw women! I need references...maybe what I need is a live model!...or better yet modelS! =)
Man & woman...
================================
One of the great comic artists that could draw excellent sexy women !
====> Mr. Michael Turner!
He is well known for drawing sexy female! But of course, he is also excellent in making muscular male, not to mention his great storytelling techniques, he is an excellent penciller! Michael Turner died from cancer.
I would recommend this book to any Michael Turner fan out there.

'just doodling with a ballpoint pen...
Once upon a time, while watching Art Attack at Disney channel with my eldest son, the host, Neil Buchanan, used a ballpoint pen in drawing a certain artwork!
Also, I read on one of the How-to-draw books of Wizard that one of the comic artists uses ballpoint pen to make a rough draft/sketch!
Also, I was able to talk to one of the Filipino artists/book illustrators during a book convention (I forgot his name, sorry), He told me that even though a ballpoint pen doesn't have the elegant reputation as brushes have, some artists actually use them to make ellegant artworks! (search it on YouTube or Google and you'll see!)
Also, ummm...ok, that's enough... =)
From then on, my point of view about ballpoint pens has changed!

Do you want to draw astounding images? But doesn't have the time or patience to do it?!
Here's a solution!
A program that turns your doodles into images!
Yup! From doodles to real-life images!!!
Now, you can do it in a shorter time, and the results are great images with minimum work!
{This post is not about 'my drawings'}
Here's an article

Amazing photoshop images created from MSpaint doodles. Yes, you heard me.
Ever wanted to photoshop together a great looking picture but the best you can manage is some wavy lines on MSpaint?
Don’t worry, there’s no longer a difference.
The basic premise is, you draw the vague outlines and label them and let the program do all the work.
It replaces your doodles with real life images, from the internet, and claims to be able to select the best image to fit.
The result is an astounding looking photoshop with minimum work.
I can barely manage a stick man in MSpaint but this would let me create a stunning photoshop.
Theres no way to know if the results will match up to the hype but if the examples shown ar, in fact,
fair examples then this may revolutionise the way people use photoshop.

Hats off to the creators, I’ll be buying my copy when their website comes back online.
The full documentation is available here.

PhotoSketch, is a software developed by Brainstorm Technology LLC.
PhotoSketch offers the combined benefits of Photogrammetry and Google Sketchup.
With tones of data that “Google Earth” or “Micrososft Visual Earth” has to offer,
an application is needed to create 3D overview of the scenes, to give a realistic or more human touch to them.
Traditionally available are two approaches to achieve the effect. One is Laser Range Scanners.
The out received from the approach is too heavy to be merged with web based applications.
The second approach “Photogrammetry” solves this problem but requires much manual work.
PhotoSketch is developed as Google Sketchup plug-in.
The software generates web worthy 3D models appropriate for merging in web based applications and streaming.
For example, there is a building at specific location.
In order to create a 3D photograph of the building to be merged with Google Earth, user needs to have various images of the object.
PhotoSketch features calibrate the images to generate a 3D view. The view can easily bed projected on Google earth or Microsoft Virtual Earth.
The virtue of PhotoSketch does not stop here. The software also offers an innovative approach to create the pictures;
the user has in his mind starting from scratch. To elaborate, the user draws a rough sketch of a scene; all he needs to do is to label the objects.
Software would automatically find the images matching the label of the objects. Once the images are there,
user can pick the best one to complete the picture he has in his mind.

{Based on a true story---my son has a great sense of humor. It happened when he was still around 4 years old}
I easily get irritated with them. But I know they are part of the food chain (some people eat them ;-) he he he). They have a purpose in this world. They move by their instincts. As far as I know, they only have instincts.
But we, human beings, are rational beings---we have the power to decide our destiny, we have the power to attract positive thoughts. Oh, yeah! We have instincts as well. ;-) It is simple and yet not easy to change our character---our character is molded based on our habits. Our habits are our repeated words and actions that are manifested by our thoughts, consciously and subconsciously. So, let us choose our thoughts wisely and continuously learn how to brainwash our subconscious towards success.

I hate house flies! B-)

I love coffee! Like other people, coffee time is my relaxation time. For a very long time, instant coffee works just fine with me. But as we all know, there’s no satisfaction with material things (even in coffee!). I now crave for brewed coffee! So, I just bought a [sip-size B-) ] coffee maker. This is my first time to have a coffee maker! (I’m already…err…20 something…20 something? Baka THirty something!) Even my son watched with me the first time we made coffee. Ang babaw ng kaligayahan namin no?! Actually, I must constantly remind myself to be mababaw ang kaligayahan. Because most of the time, I tend to ignore God’s blessings.
Thank God for our new coffee maker!

I thank God whenever nature calls and I’m at home, and the everyone’s throne is vacant!
Man, I want to have my own throne! Exclusive just for me! No one will ever sit there but me! Why? Because I sit there for an average of 5 minutes…5 minutes and 1 hour per day! B-) During this process, I read, gather info, generate ideas, and sing (and dance!?), with the background acoustic sound of pooot, plok, and splash!
Ooops! WARNING: Do not read this while eating! (kinda late, don’t you think?)
Enjoy the process people!
